Word has gotten out that I’m the new 4-H guy in Washington County, aside from the most frequent question I get, which is “What is 4-H?” I’ve been asked quite frequently, “What scholarships does 4-H offer overachieving  youth?”

Well, here are some REALLY GREAT scholarships you should know about:

  1. Amy Kearsley Merit Scholarship: $2,200 ($1,100 per semester) scholarship for tuition, student fees, etc. for 1 year (2 semesters) at Utah State University in Logan.
  2. Fern Kelley Scholarship: $500 ($250 per semester) scholarship to be used toward the cost of tuition at Utah State University in Logan.
  3. Western AgCredit Scholarship: $500 ($250 per semester) scholarship to be used toward the cost of tuition at Utah State University in Logan.
  4. Von H. And Elaine Y. Jarrett Scholarship: $400 ($200 per semester) scholarship to be used toward the cost of tuition at Utah State University in Logan.
